Coerver® Coaching is a Global Soccer Education programme inspired by legendary Dutch Coach Weil Coerver, created in 1984 by former Scotland International Charlie Cook and International Director Alfred Galustain. Since then the method has spread to every Soccer playing nation and has been involved in developing some of the games finest players.

Today Coerver® is a world wide soccer education company with camps, schools, clinics, events and education products in Europe, Africa, North and South America, Oceania and Asia. Our teaching method is suited for all ages but especially players aged 5-16 years and their coaches and teachers. It's a method that focuses on individual skills and small group plays.

Our Curriculum is represented by our ‘Pyramid of Player Development', which has been recommended by Federations, top clubs, legends and experts in the game. The Pyramid of Player development is a carefully constructed programme which contains hundreds of fun and challenging practices. Made up of 6 building blocks the Pyramid is adaptable to suit players of all ages and abilities. The Pyramid represents the essential skills of soccer that are taught at all levels of Coerver® Coaching from beginners to advanced.

Coerver® Scotland

Coerver® Coaching Scotland has been established for 20 years. Today Coerver® deliver exciting programmes to club, players and coaches from throughout the nation. In Scotland, Coerver® has provided educational clinics for the Scottish Football Association, Celtic FC, Rangers FC among others and are also grassroots consultants to Hearts FC and Falkirk FC. Coerver® provide support to the work delivered by the countries many grassroots clubs and teams, through education seminars for Coaches and teachers and our School of Excellence programme for advanced young players. Coerver® Coaching also provides an opportunity for Beginner to Intermediate young players through our many player camps and weekly schools.

Details : Coerver School of Excellence focuses on player development. Open to young players aged 7-14 years sessions aim to develop skilfull, confident, creative young players.

The programme is designed to supplement the training and games programme provided by clubs.
